Church Covenant

 Having been led as we believe by the Spirit of God to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and, on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, we do now in the presence of God and this assembly most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another as one body in Christ.

We engage, therefore, by the aide of the Holy Spirit to walk together in Christ's love; to strive for the advancement of this church in knowledge, holiness, and comfort; to promote its prosperity and spirituality; to sustain its worship, ordinances, doctrines, and discipline; to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the Gospel through all nations.

Mission Statement

First First Baptist Church, Bagdad Florida endeavors, under the leadership and guidance of the Holy Spirit to be a church that fulfills three primary objectives. First and foremost, we will be a church that fulfills the Great Commission of Matthew 28:18-20, and be mission-minded in the spirit of Acts 1:8 "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

We will win the lost! We will focus on local and regional missions as well as the outer ends of the earth through giving to the cooperative program and through direct involvement. We believe God will bless our church if we turn outward and give of our time and resources.
